Below are the basic requirements for functionality of Crack the NCLEX:
1) Either a PC or MAC. On PC, it will support Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8. The software is NOT compatible with the iPad because the purpose of the program is to emulate actual testing conditions through a laptop or desktop.
2) Monitor with a resolution larger than 800x600 pixels.
3) Internet Connection to activate software.
We recommend that you have an Internet connection when using Crack the NCLEX to take advantage of all the features. For example, in order to view the Video Explanations for every question, you will need Internet Access.
You can still use the program without Internet after it has been activated. You can use Crack the NCLEX for up to 2-3 weeks in offline mode (without an internet connection). However, after 2-3 weeks, you would need to open Crack the NCLEX while being connected to the Internet in order to renew another 2-3 weeks of off-line usage. You will need to be connected in order to access the online video content.
Unlike other software preparation tools which expire in 3-6 months, we do NOT have any expiration. However, the program will expire if you format your hard drive or transfer to a new computer and we do make accommodations.
You can take the Full-Length tests as many times as you wish to help you prepare for the nursing College Admission Test.
In accordance with the board exams, all students will be given a time frame of 3.5 hours to complete the morning session and 3.5 hours to complete the afternoon session. Explanation: Often times, since our programs operate off of a licensing server which identifies your device through a fingerprint. Therefore, if you have other devices plugged into your computer during the activation of your software, this will modify the fingerprint and will prevent you from using the software. Therefore, please ensure that your computer is currently in the same state as it was when the programs were activated if you are receiving a invalid license key message.
3) Have you previously used this license key on another computer?
Explanation: When you activate the program with the license key, our licensing server identifies your device through a fingerprint. If the program is then installed on a different computer or you have wiped your hard drive, there will be a mismatch in the fingerprint which will render an "invalid message". The license key is only to be used on one computer and a stable hard drive. Any attempt made to install this software on more than one computer is considered illegal and violates the terms and conditions of the service. We do not have the means to grade your essay. After you take the writing exam, your response will be recorded. You will then receive a rubric that will show the criteria from score 1 to 6 that the the evaluators use to grade your essay (click on TEXT evaluation at the bottom left when you access your recorded response). Based on this, you can self-critique your essay. It is always best to self-evaluate your essay because it gives you the chance to be honest about your performance and identify what steps you could have taken to improve. In addition, exposing yourself to these written prompts will make you very comfortable on test day since it will become routine for you. This automatically gives you an edge over other students who are not ready or have prepared adequately and sufficiently for this portion of the exam.
The sole purpose of Crack the NCLEX is to emulate the actual testing conditions. With that being said, we do not provide a feature where you can pause the exam and resume it later. We strongly advise that you dedicate and allot the default time to take the sections in order to get the most realistic NCLEX experience.
